OUR AIM
As a not for profit charitable organization The Andrews Centre is primarily seeking to make sure that the financially disadvantaged still have access to affordable counselling and psychology services. Hence all fees are based on a sliding scale according to income with concessions available for Centrelink card holders, full time tertiary students and those demonstrating financial hardship. Rebates are available with some private health funds and others can be funded under NDIS.
Counselling Fees
INCOME LEVEL | INDIVIDUAL | COUPLES/FAMILY |
Pensioner or Healthcare Card Holder | $30.00 | $40.00 |
Income up to $60,000 p.a. | $50.00 | $60.00 |
Income over $60,000 p.a. | $60.00 | $70.00 |
For couples and for family counselling the combined income of all the clients involved in the session is what determines the scheduled fee.
Please let your counsellor know if there is any concern about ability to pay the scheduled fee due to particular financial circumstances
Psychology Fees
Again fees are based on a sliding scale according to income. Centrelink card holders and full time tertiary students and those demonstrating financial hardship will be bulk billed under the provisions of Medicare as long as the client has obtained a Mental Health Plan referring them to a particular psychologist. (Their allocated sessions will be without cost.) Those on higher incomes will be required to pay a gap as indicated. Rebates might also be available with some private health funds.
INCOME LEVEL | INDIVIDUAL | MEDICARE REBATE | GAP |
